Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Proprietor Of Cell Pet Salon In Hillsborough

James Taylor is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound JUJU had last weekend. Taylor claims that a groomer taped Jujur’s mouth shut when it was bitten. This resulted in the dog looking bloody and being distressed.

Taylor recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I thought was a muff turned out to just be tape. Jujur's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.

Puppy Lux - a mobile salon for pets - employed the groomer to perform these actions.

James rushed Juju to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. He joined a number of others in accusing Puppy Lux for animal abuse. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.

James described his observations, saying "I saw wounds in the genital, neck, and near the joints." The wounds were so severe they caused bleeding."

Jack Smithr, customer of Puppy Lux posted a Yelp review detailing the way his pets were returned unwell or injured. Another customer took a Snapchat of a dog appearing to be in pain. They claimed that a groomer inserted an ear napkin by force.

Puppy Lux, in addition to the bad Yelp reviews and the fact that he was trusted to take care of their pets, wants his customers to know what the groomer said. James revealed, "Jonny informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."

When contacted by Fox, Puppy Lux answered the phone but promptly handed it over to a woman who stated they were investigating the allegations. When animal abuse activists asked about Puppy, she immediately said that it was an independent entity, before abruptly terminating the call.
